Lime Mortar Pointing Grassendale
Victorian Brickwork Restoration
Lime mortar repointing in Cressington of Victorian garden wall. The wall had previously been poorly repaired and extended using a cement based mortar. We removed the extended section of the wall, rebuilt it in salvaged bricks and added a Victorian styled buttress.
All joints raked out to the remainder of the wall to double the depth of the their width, with all cement pointing removed, any damaged bricks replaced and all repointed with traditional lime mortar.
